HFX Wanderers FC Partnership

Benjamin Bridge is delighted to announce that it is a Founding Partner of Atlantic Canada’s newest professional sports team, HFX Wanderers FC. Its iconic wine, Nova 7, is to be the official wine for Halifax’s new football club. On May 4th, HFX Wanderers FC will play its first home match of the Canadian Premier League’s inaugural season in Halifax.

As the official wine partner, the renovated Wanderers Grounds will be home to an exclusive blend of Nova 7 in a co-branded 250-ml can. These specially designed cans are ideally suited to Nova 7’s fun and lively character. They maintain its refreshing, aromatic taste, and like other aluminum cans, are faster chilling, and more efficiently recycled. As soccer fans get together this coming season to cheer on HFX Wanderers FC, they will be able to enjoy Nova 7 in a convenient, single serve, ready-to-go format.

Our head winemaker, Jean-Benoit Deslauriers, explains the rationale behind the

“When we learned of this new professional soccer league and its passion for place and community, we wanted to explore the possibility of a partnership. The HFX Wanderers FC leadership were immediately receptive and felt that Benjamin Bridge’s Nova 7 would be a wonderful complement to the club. As Nova Scotia’s top selling wine, Nova 7 has found its way into many, many social gatherings on the East Coast. And like Benjamin Bridge did more than 10 years ago, this new football club is embarking on a journey to bring people together in a way that sparks pride and enjoyment.”

This special, limited edition of 250ml co-branded cans of Nova 7 will be available for the inaugural HFX Wanderers FC matches at the Wanderers Grounds during football matches and for direct purchase, exclusively to members and season ticket holders.
