Benjamin Bridge is delighted to announce a first for Nova Scotia’s grape and wine industry – the debut of our Méthode Classique NV Brut on-board WestJet.
This premium sparkling wine will be available on most international WestJet flights including the airline’s brand new 787 Dreamliner aircraft flying internationally between Calgary, Paris, London and Dublin. Benjamin Bridge NV Brut will be the only Canadian sparkling wine available in WestJet’s Premium cabins.
Benjamin Bridge’s Méthode Classique NV Brut has been described by British Columbia wine writers Treve Ring and Anthony Gismondi, as “unique as the story behind this iconic Canadian winery.” Closer to home, Toronto-based Master of Wine writer John Szabo predicted future success for the NV Brut by identifying a ‘trifecta’ of qualities:
“Considering the attractive price, the impressive quality, and the available volume, this wine has the potential to put Nova Scotia sparkling firmly on the national and even world map.”
Now, thanks to WestJet’s backing of Canadian products, Benjamin Bridge will be sharing the story of Nova Scotia’s traditional method sparkling with the world.
All great Champagne houses express a signature style by blending different years’ harvests. Like them, Benjamin Bridge’s NV Brut relies on its expansive inventory of aged sparkling wines to express its unique house-style.
Since 2001 the winery’s founders wanted to make world-class sparkling wine in Nova Scotia’s Gaspereau Valley. Their vision was to become an internationally-acclaimed and sought-after sparkling wine house, crafting wines that are true to their distinct maritime terroir.
The Benjamin Bridge Méthode Classique NV Brut is available across Canada and in select international markets, including Tokyo, London, and Helsinki. And now thanks to WestJet and California-based wine management company Intervine, Benjamin Bridge wines are set to enter more international markets.
