Tasting Notes, 2016 Taurus
In the glass, a deep purple colour with a magenta hue. On the nose, a wild bouquet of forest floor, botanical herbs and lavender is enhanced by hints of warm raspberry liqueur. On the palate, expressive notes of black cherries, cinnamon and black pepper are complicated by suggestions of candied anise and smoked game. A highly tonic finish lingers with interlaced spicy and sappy fruit layers. A wine with great depth and substance.
